Terms of Service

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Welcome to Sarah’s PDF Lab (https://sarahspdflab.clickfreetools.com). By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. The service

Sarah’s PDF Lab is a free online tool for editing PDF files: merging, compressing, rotating, deleting, reordering and extracting pages, adding password protection, and converting images to PDF. All processing happens in your browser on your own device.

2. Who may use it

You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your country, or have permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for using the site in line with the laws that apply to you.

3. Your files and content

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to:

5. How the tools behave

Some features change the file in ways you should know about. Compression converts pages to images, so text in the result can no longer be selected or searched, and the result may not always be smaller than the original. Password protection applies standard PDF encryption and permission flags; permission restrictions are not enforced by every PDF reader and should not be your only safeguard for highly sensitive documents. Very large files may be slow or fail depending on your device’s memory.

6. Free service, ads and donations

The site is free to use. We may display advertisements and offer optional voluntary donations through Buy Me a Coffee. Donations are not payment for a product, do not create a customer relationship, and are generally non-refundable. They do not give you any special rights or support level.

7. Intellectual property

The site’s design, text and branding belong to us or our licensors. The site uses open-source libraries (such as PDF.js, pdf-lib and jsPDF), which remain under their respective licenses. You may not copy or redistribute the site’s design or branding without permission.

8. Third-party links and services

The site links to and loads resources from third parties (for example Google, GitHub and Buy Me a Coffee). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted and error-free operation. We do not guarantee that output files will be free of errors or compatible with every PDF reader.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site, which for a free service is zero. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under mandatory consumer-protection law.

11. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and we may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law in your country of residence says otherwise.
