Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sarah’s PDF Lab (“we”, “us”, “the site”), available at https://sarahspdflab.clickfreetools.com, handles information when you use it. We built the site to be private by design: your PDF files are processed on your own device and are never sent to us.

In short: we do not upload, store or read your files. We do not require an account. Third-party services, including advertising partners, may use cookies as described below.

1. Your files

All editing (merging, compressing, rotating, deleting, reordering, extracting, protecting, and converting images to PDF) happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your documents, passwords and page previews stay in your device’s memory and disappear when you close or reload the tab. We cannot see them and cannot recover them or any password you set.

2. Information we collect

We do not ask for your name, email or any account details to use the tools. The only information that may be collected comes from:

3. Cookies and advertising

We may display ads provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners, as third-party vendors, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a consent management platform before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the editor will keep working, but ads may be less relevant.

4. Third-party services

To work, the site loads resources from third parties, which may receive your IP address and browser details when your browser requests them:

5. How we use information

We use the limited information above only to operate and secure the site, understand and fix technical problems, answer your messages, show advertising, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

We keep server logs and emails only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Files you open in the editor are never retained because they never leave your device.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA/UK, the LGPD in Brazil, or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests will concern emails you sent us. To exercise a right, contact us at [email protected]. Other than through standard advertising cookies as described above, which you can opt out of, we do not sell or share your personal information.

8. Children

The site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and your files never leave your browser, which greatly reduces exposure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
